Paul Mabe, D.D.S.

Dr. Paul Mabe’s daily goal as a dentist is to treat patients well. He is very good at listening to his patients, and while he loves to give people a beautiful smile, he finds even more satisfaction when he can relieve a patient’s pain.

Dr. Mabe earned a biology degree at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa and a doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association. To stay on top of developments in dentistry, Dr. Mabe takes a lot of continuing education classes, far exceeding the annual requirements of the Kansas Dental Board.

Dr. Mabe is an avid tennis player and loves the outdoors. He likes to hike, bike and go boating. Married to Yvette with two daughters, Lauren and Julia, Dr. Mabe is active in his church. “He is extremely creative and a perfectionist,” says a staff member, “and he likes to bring perfection and art together in a beautiful smile. But best of all, he treats every patient as if they’re a member of his family.”

Greg Markway, D.D.S.

Dr. Greg Markway loves dentistry - and it shows. Known for being cheerful and positive, he has a degree in biology from the University of Missouri and a D.D.S. degree from the UMKC School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association and attends a number of continuing education classes each year.

Married to Monica with two daughters, Jillian and Jacklyn, Dr. Markway likes nothing better than to spend time with his family. He is active in his church and is a movie buff. One of the staff calls Dr. Markway “the kindest, gentlest, most compassionate dentists I’ve ever met.”

Dr. Kelly Toombs

Dr. Kelly Toombs received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry where he subsequently completed his residency in orthodontics. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He is a board certified orthodontic specialist in Kansas and Missouri and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Toombs has been practicing orthodontics in Gardner and the Kansas City area since 1984. Dr. Toombs also is the founding orthodontist of Smiles Change Lives, a foundation that helps provide orthodontic care for under-privileged children. 

 Dr. Toombs is a native Kansan and has lived in the Kansas City area since 1978. He is married and is the proud father of three children.

Our Staff

Our talented staff includes three dental hygienists, two dental assistants, a scheduling coordinator, a finance and insurance coordinator, and a treatment coordinator and a sterilization specialist. As you can see when you visit our office, all of them are friendly and knowledgeable and put patients first.

Our dental hygienists have a wealth of experience and receive rave reviews from patients. “They are kind and caring and deliver quick, comfortable care,” says a staff member. “They are very, very good, and patients love them.”
