Restorative Dentistry

Behind every beautiful smile is a healthy smile. And maintaining that healthy smile necessitates repairing and restoring teeth when they are damaged. At Gardner Dentists, we offer a number of restorative treatments to mend your tooth and renew your smile. Whether your tooth has been damaged because of tooth decay, a traumatic injury or the inevitable aging process, we can give you a reason to smile with one of our state-of-the-art restorative procedures.

Crowns & Bridges

The importance of replacing even one missing tooth cannot be overstated. Gaps can cause adjacent teeth to rotate or move into the empty space, which can lead to a bad bite and other troubles, including gum disease and TMJ disorder.

In situations where a single tooth or perhaps multiple teeth along an arch need to be replaced, a crown and bridge is an excellent choice. With a crown and bridge, Dr. Markway or Dr. Haworth attach an abutment crown to teeth on either side of the empty space. These crowns in turn anchor the replacement teeth that “bridge” the gap of your missing teeth. Of course, the crown and bridge is matched to the color of your existing teeth.

Dentures and Partials

If you need to replace multiple missing teeth or a full upper or lower arch, our Gardner office can help. As part of our commitment to quality restorative care, we’re happy to offer custom-made partials and dentures. A partial features multiple restorations on a gum colored base while a full denture recreates a full arch, also with a gum colored base. During a consultation at our office, we’ll talk to you about your options and create a personalized treatment plan to help you restore your smile.  Learn more about Dentures and Partials.

A full smile not only allows you to chew and speak more naturally, it will also boost your confidence and enhance your appearance for years to come. So, if you have missing teeth, talk to the staff at Gardner Dentists about restorative care with crowns and bridges or dentures.
